You will understand the sources of finance; cost of capital, capital structure, and portfolio theory and dividend policy. You will gain ability to effectively manage a working capital, and manage merger and acquisition program within an organization.

You will understand the concept of “Time Value of Money”, how time value of money explains the facts that value of money changes overtime due to inflation rate, risk and uncertainties e.t.c. You will understand how to examine financial data of a firm with a view to having an insight into the performance of the organization.

You will learn how organization can develop workable strategies in order to be of continued relevance and to prevent the “going concern” of the organization from being threatened, and how financial planning which entails setting goals and devising ways of attaining such goals can help in implementing the strategies. You will learn how to plan ahead in order to sustain business continuity.
