Perfect for my 10 & 11 year old kids, here in the U.S. and finding a quality English Curriculum/Course. Course is far more detailed and granular on proper English composition than anything kids in the States are exposed to. I myself had never came across the terms much less a lesson on 'anaphoric, cataphoric, and exophoric references' Most of the reference points are rooted in historic U.K. culture (authors, poets, etc) and that can get a little dry for American kids born in the 21st Century. While the writing and reading of Arthur Doyle (Sherlock Holmes) who died in 1930 may have instructive value - it can be zzzzzzz for today's American kid. I monitored each lesson and had to translate things here and there, all minor (flat = apartment, etc) but my kids seem to be aware of the slight spelling changes of British English (from their own online gaming and having friend all over the world) and they got a kick out of the pronunciation differences on words like "schedule", etc. The instructor in style is thorough and rigorous. She exudes passion, my kids liked her, she was awesome. Her lessons are comprehensive in illustrations, she shares sensible frameworks in which to approach writing, the homework assignments well aligned to the preceding lesson. In sum my expectations were exceeded and I got far far more than what I paid for - in educational content for my kids.

I have been struggling to keep my son motivated. This course is great, full of activities and it's good having a new set of lessons each week. He's finding it helpful and it's not too daunting.

It's OK though very basic and if you want to follow the explanation by copying it is impossible because the teacher is in front of the camera and you can only see her so...
