Provided a start to a project I am working on. Some of the sound in the material had an echo effect which was difficult at times with my tinnitus. The assignments didn't really make sense consistently, but did point out that there are steps needed to start and work through developing an onboarding process. Did come away with lots of notes.

Content is applicable to Company HR departments and people managers. Geared toward brand new hires, but a lot of the concepts could apply to internal transfers too as they join a new team. Many suggestions are specific and actionable.

There were a lot of great concepts covered in this onboarding crash course. The bottom line is that organizations need to make the investment in a good onboarding experience because if it is not a good experience then your employee will likely be looking to go elsewhere.

I got a lot of good ideas from this course, especially the logistics info to send in pre-boarding. What I did not like is the assignments. They were confusing to go through, too many things to click on to get them submitted, and half did not register and I could not get them to register so the course, never looked completed.
