IBM Db2 is a family of related data management products,

including relational database servers, developed and marketed by IBM.

This course provides you the basic understanding of concepts of database, database installation and management. At the end of the course you should be equipped with some understanding of database management concepts.

In this course we will interact with the DB2 Server and run some SQL queries on the database. We will create a database and multiple tables and perform some data manipulation and CRUD operations on the database.

RDBMS stands for Relational Database Management System.

RDBMS is the basis for SQL, and for all modern database systems such as MS SQL Server, IBM DB2, Oracle, MySQL, and Microsoft Access.

The data in RDBMS is stored in database objects called tables. A table is a collection of related data entries and it consists of columns and rows.

Database skills are in high demand due to the volume, speed and complexity of data that is increasing daily. We interact with a variety of data in our daily lives from social media to banking and health.

The presenter speaks very slow and also the requirements for the course says "Basic knowledge of SQL" but anyway he teaches you just the basics, nothing feels particular in regard to DB2.

El curso es sencillo, pero el audio hace difícil de asimilarlo. Es difícil de entender e incluso utilizando subtítulos, hay errores debido a la pronunciación, lo que provoca frases que no tienen sentido

regular, es muy básico, la traducción no es buena, y muchas veces la traducción tapa lo que esta explicando el expositor. la ultimas partes estubieron mejor de los puntos de manejo del db2 y sql

The course was too generic for me i was looking forward to seeing dba action since i need more information regarding db2 since i am already an oracle specialist. But this course is good if you need to learn about SQL or db structure.

good for a basic introduction do DB2 and Relational databases. I would say it requires to be updated because in the lesson related to populate tables it was needed to perfomr some workarounds, sionce not all the data was uploaded correctly. apart of that details, the training deliver.
