Discover excellence in project management and how more and more companies are using Critical chain project management principles with remarkable results in their projects. From Siemens to Mazda, a large variety of project management teams are increasingly using this method in their project management and product delivery efforts.

On average, the Due Date performance (DDP) - projects completed in time -  improved to 90%+ from average of 30% in most of the companies (3x improvement) that implemented it. With improved reliability, higher quality and reduced cost.

The results are not surprising. given that CCPM is an application of the Theory of Constraints (TOC) that has shown such consistent results in Manufacturing, Retail, Distribution etc.

TOC average results/performance are as follows:

Cycle time mean reduction 65%

Inventory levels mean reduction 49%

Revenue mean increase 83%

Throughput mean increase 65%

Profitability mean increase 116%

Critical chain was introduced by Eli Goldratt in 1997 and evolved over the years. The skills have proven to be one of the most efficient project delivery methods. With CCPM, you can deliver projects faster and effectively. It fosters an environment of constant collaboration, teamwork, and focus on execution.

It can be applied in a single project or in a multi-project environment. It can be applied in isolation, or the principles and tools can be combined with other project methods such as Agile, Scrum or Kanban. Since CCPM seeks to reduce work in progress(WIP), it is more closer to Kanban principles.

  • You will command a strong focus on delivering customer value and exceeding expectations.

  • You will learn important concepts not covered in project management training such as Task durations, reducing stress among team members, and roles and responsibilities for key stakeholders.

  • Value for money.

  • A guide/process to follow.

  • Excel downloadable templates for Status reports, task management and delay reports.

The knowledge, skills and principles you learn are versatile to give you a holistic view of projects and can be combined beneficially with any of the methods that you are currently using in your projects. It will give you the skills to manage projects in a new light and give you a competitive edge in this knowledge economy. You will manage your projects in a much better way..

This is very good material. I am taking the time to experience CCPM and what it means at a working level.

The narration is in heavily accented english, making it hard to follow. The explanation of the various buffer types is lacking.

I find the instructor is clear in his explanations and his facts look very credible. As a PM with over 20+ yrs experience a PMP and PMI-ACP, his information and experience are correct. So far ... so good. As a TOC practitioner, I am well-versed on TOC as applied to industrial or supply chain problems. However, I would like to see more examples of the 5 Focusing Steps in CCPM. In addition, the instructor offered that if non-critical tasks were a problem, one could add them to the critical chain. I did NOT follow that, and would appreciate an example, or explanation.
