Prepare the application to be published on the App store

Why take this course?

Build your music player application with code snippets provided to you. It has never been easier and you don't have to be a pro to get started.

Here are some of the benefits you get:

- Gives you the code base to build an entire application from scratch

- Install and set up React Native basic app folder structure

- Music specific modules like React Native Track Player

- Pause, play and skip buttons

- Music video player

- Reducer functions so that your app is well defined

- Additional styles and utilities

- Menu so that you can change the "page" that you are currently viewing, for example, home page vs music page

- Learn how to upload your app, through the Apple's developer tools

- Test your app on your iPhone through the testing app

- Loads of possibility to extend the functionality

- Prepare your app for submitting it to the App store by learning the process and what to expect in terms of requirements.

I will guide you through the process step by step, showing my screen and providing you with snippets of code. Once you are done, you should have a fully functioning music app. Of course you can either continue to work on it, improve it, and add new features.

I had expectations that creator of this course will create an app here and we - students, will write a code with him, but in reality he just shows and explains what he did and provides a repo with code. I found this approach less efficient in learning some technology. There is no fetching data, songs are stored in a project folder, you don't do it in real project , it should be stored on BE side, would be nice to use some open API here for example. Author uses only actions from Redux, and this is even non last version, on Redux Toolkit which is used already for a long time, not yesterdays thing. It doesn't help to understand and use Redux state manager confidently . There is tsconfig.json file, but why if typescript is not used here? It's a javascript project. And there is file with eslint config, but current project is not passing these eslint settings, what is pretty confusing. Have a feeling that previous 5 stars feedback left author's bestie. I'm very sorry, but can't recommend this course to someone.

I recently had the pleasure of following this tutorial and I must say, it was an incredible experience. The tutorial was well-structured, easy to follow, and gave me a comprehensive understanding of building a music app using React Native. The instructor was knowledgeable, and his explanations were clear and concise. The tutorial covered all the essential aspects of building a music app, including setting up the development environment, creating the user interface, implementing functionality to play music, and integrating third-party libraries. What I loved most about the tutorial was that it didn't assume prior knowledge of React Native, making it an ideal learning resource for both beginners and seasoned developers. The instructions were straightforward, and the accompanying code snippets were easy to understand. The tutorial was engaging and kept me motivated throughout, and the end result was a fully functional music app that I am proud of. I am confident that I can take the knowledge and skills I gained from this tutorial and apply them to other projects in the future. Overall, I highly recommend this tutorial to anyone interested in building a music app. It was an excellent learning experience, and I am grateful for the opportunity to have followed it.
