The content is good, but the practice exam at the end is FULL of typos. Some of the questions do not make any sense because of the number of typos.

The course contents are divided and subdivided into sequential phases , very clear , very well defined , explanations are transparent and easy to follow , I haven't taken any other PMP preparation study material offered by any other instructors so my opinion could have been different if I had watched other study materials ( Could be better or couldn't ) , but overall I made a huge progress in learning the principles of Project management and Agile , with that I totally recommend this course because for me it was great !

The instructors basically read the information off of the slides verbatim in the executing and the monitoring and controlling sections. Additionally, many of the test questions were outside of the material covered in the course. Lastly, some of the assignments during the PMP game board section included vague instructions and weren't very clear.

In all honesty, so far this course is being delivered very blandly. It's hard to keep track of how the explanations match the slides. I think there are ways to make this more interactive to ensure comprehension. More quizzes would be helpful and less open ended assignments.

As the first-time learner I am able to link to the basics because the beginning journey of the course helps with the understanding of the next topic clearly.

I started the course with high expectations after reading some reviews and other recommendations from online sources. However, the course did not satisfy the high praises at all - unfortunately. First off and contrary to replies to other reviews, the course may cover most of the PMBOK 6th edition although the recordings are made before the 6th edition was published but it does NOT cover the 7th edition! Too bad that this is not to find anywhere in the course description or in the comments. It would just be fair to potential customers to let them know beforehand what to expect and what not to. Alongside to poor audio quality in some sections the course did not fit expectations. It is very much an audiobook with some few slides. Here an example: In section 4 the topic about risk: there are two chapters - 44. Risk Identification and 45. Qualitative and Quantitative Risk Analysis ( 26 minutes and 12 minutes respectively) with a total of 4 (!) slides. WOW! After going through over 30% of the course, there is absolutely no interaction with the narrator and the slides and many times the narrative and the slides are not correlating. Seems that some content got edited / updated at some point while the counterpart was not. Further to me the structure / the logical sequence of the course leaves to be desired. How would it be justified that for example "Agile" is mentioned throughout the first sections numerous times and references are made like "in and Agile project environment you would do this and that" and not even giving an explanation what Agile is? There are a number of Sections later dedicated to Agile but nothing before that. Disturbing! Another example is a quiz question referring to project planning approaches (Six Sigma, Waterfall, Rolling Wave, Waterfall). There was no section going through all these terms before the quiz. So take a guess... All in all, I cannot recommend this course with the above mentioned and I am not going through the rest of the course but subscribing to a different one instead. Luckily I did not pay full course cost but had a big rebate. Otherwise I would be extremely frustrated about the financial loss so it's just time I spent inefficiently. I did learn something but by far not enough to feel comfortable that this course prepares me well for the PMP exam! Oh, one last thing: The majority of resources are not designed to be applied to any project but are relatively specific (to probably another course they provide) or a are so general in concept that it's almost easier to make them yourself (e.g Risk assessment map). So be prepared to fiddle around a lot and tailoring these to your need or be surprised of the value they provide. Sorry guys, but that is my takeaway. I would hope you will do a real good overhaul of the course to provide really good value to your customers. The environments change all the time so courses need to reflect that change with adapted content as well. Only "Mahalo" does not cut it ;) Oh and a very last thing: With the assignments is a section of "Instructor example" . Unfortunately I have yet to find one real example and not an absolutely worthless comment...

I feel it is a good match because I learn by doing and hearing examples. I really enjoy getting to put the resource templates into use while learning.

there are typos on the slides that are very distracting, it would be helpful if we could screenshot the slides (like diagrams) for studying..

I am planning to take PMP exam on March 2024. Is this course still relevant? Because it does not cover PMBOK 7. Please let me know.

I'm about 75% through the material. Overall I appreciate the depth and approach to explaining the concepts and how they show up in the exam. I really like the quiz questions scattered throughout to test my knowledge and the accompanying explanations. Also appreciate the flexibility to adjust the voice speed. Slide visuals need much improvement. So much wasted space on each slide with the banner and website at the top. As there is is much covered verbally, there should be more context on the screen related to what the speaker is saying. From a learning perspective, a learner is more likely to digest material if they both hear it and see it at the same time. There should also never be anything on the slide that is not relevant to what the facilitator is saying - (remove title banner). The facilitators should never talk about something that is not represented on the slide. An easy way to do this is to use animations (pop things up and off the slide) when they are relevant. Learners also attach more significance when they can tie and image to what is being said, i.e. if talking about about cost management, pop a dollar sign on the slide. Recommend to hire an instructional designer to rework the slides from a learning perspective when time to update the course. Overall, I'm glad I purchased this and hope this knowledge will help me pass the test!

To the course authors: The quality of each section can be variable. Some are great some are nothing more than narrations of a glossary. I don't know if another issue is due to PMI use of language or the course itself. At times, this made the statements in the course nonsensical. And as I had anticipated, the issue carried on to the test. Things like treating 'tangible' and 'measurable' as synonymous and other non 'common sense' interpretations of English undermine the courses quality which actively impact the test. I have a hunch that the issue is caused by PMI themselves, not the course authors, but I haven't taken practice tests elsewhere to confirm. Also, some of the tests questions/answers are wrong. To potential future students: As a science professional working in Clinical Trials a PMP Certification seems incredibly useless. About 80% of the content of this course, what PMI assumes to be a requirement for a Project Manager, is no applicable to such projects. 15% is common knowledge and/or common sense and the remaining 5% appears useful but so niche that it's unlikely I will ever use it. Why are PMP Certifications being considered 'Preferred Requirements' by Big Pharma for working on Clinical Trial is still a mystery to me. Nonetheless, I only had to pay less than $20 so it was a good investment for the value. But only for how insightful it is, not for how useful it is to someone in my specific role and industry. Had I paid full price, I probably would have requested a refund from Udemy half way trough.

I really enjoyed the way they made a lot of practical assignments. I found this helps solidify the knowledge

Needs updates for PMBOK 7, no? I think the content has been fine for me since I've held this mental caveat. If I were to really criticize anything, it's that the course creator couldn't be bothered with spellcheck so frequently. It does not give the audience the feeling that they paid for a professional product, despite quality in other places. Add that together, 3.5 stars.
