It would have been interesting to get some more insight to both ISAKMP and IPSec technologies, as well as crypto methods. But all in all, the course did what it set out to do. :)

As noted in Q&A there are a lot of preconfigured information.. missing those steps makes this course a little to high overview of what is being taught

The course description mentioned that it involved S2S VPN troubleshooting steps. But nothing was performed as the S2S VPN came up successfully in the first try. Atleast, the tutors could have created a scenario where in an issue was created and troubleshooting was performed on the same. Completely dissatisfied with the content

This was an excellent, to the point course. Well taught. The only complaint I have, is there needs to be examples of mistakes.
Mismatched Phase 2 subnets showing encap or decap not happening is a good example.
Not going to fault the stars though, good to the point course.

The NAT exception portion is poorly explained. The manner in which it is presented makes it confusing to understand how the exception is really working.

I still have questions, I'm interested in learning about IKEv2 as well, which wasn't covered. I had a good understanding of the pieces needed to bring up a tunnel, but wasn't sure how the different parts of the config tied everything together and I would end up missing pieces. He made everything very clear.

Course was exactly what I needed, great overview on setting up a VPN on the Cisco ASA firewall.
Only thing I would like, is a written copy of many of the commands Jimmy used. I found myself having to jump around the recordings so I could find the section covering the Cisco ios CLI commands.

90% of tunnels in jobs are made from ASDM. Wish you would show us from ASDM how to use the site to site wizard and how to do it from there. Not from CLI.

Content was short and sweet however more useful content could and should have been added. Instructions for creation of a site-to-site VPN were provided for CMD line only. I feel you should have also shown us how this is done in the GUI of the ASA via the wizard as well as manual creation of the VPN in the GUI covering all possible configuration scenarios. Great content overall and to the point.

Created my first S2S VPN tunnel with a 3rd party hosting company using what I learned from this course and the tunnel came up on the first try. Great information on these videos with decent explanations of most of the material. Highly recommended if you're just looking to create a tunnel.

The instructor did a great job of covering all the basics of constructing a VPN tunnel and demonstrated good examples that were easy to follow along. The course was concise and to the point, easily understood for beginners to intermediate students.
