What you will learn

Students will learn about the products, players and jargon of the capital and derivative markets. The capital markets are a place to raise money or invest money and students will learn about the two key capital markets – equities and fixed income. The derivative markets are a place to manage risk. Students will learn about futures, forwards, options and swaps.

This course is a foundation programme in financial markets. It covers the major capital markets – equities and debt and the main derivative markets – futures, forwards, options and swaps.

Concepts are broken down quite well. The narrators are clear and well-paced. Helped with the foundations for someone like me who is new to capital markets. Always struggled with where derivatives fit in the picture. now it makes sense.

course is good but it should include more example for explaining each topic in detail. For a new guy it hard to understand financial market jargons in such a less time. Also audio is not clear in some of the videos.
