I have taken 5 courses on Grafic Design. The courses had content for 12 h and they build a lot of designs. But after the courses i feel completely lost. This course and Volume 1 didn't flood me with tools and menues, it pointet out the Grafic Desing Theory and showed some really good examples. This was pure Gold - unlike the other courses where the knowlage get applied but don't explained very good. This course and volume 1 are pure Gold.

I didn't like how this course doesn't have some exercises or group discussion with other students. Try to see how other online course are designed like on Edx or Coursera. Once you are done a given course and you have a certificate it is something that is tangible and it has marks because there were some assessments.

The content is good. The instructor can explain the concept using examples in Canvas. It would be even better if the instructor can provide some exercise for students to practice the concept in the course.

Another good course from this instructor. I loved learning about all the thought that goes into the images I see. And I got some good ideas for making my own images. In the end, I'll probably hire a graphic designer to do my web page and my logo if I ever start my own company, but even then, I'll be able to judge their designs better, now that I've taken this course. I really enjoyed it. Well worth the time and money spent.

Hi Jeremy...part two of the ret notes. Thanks so much for these two parts to the GD course. When I was through I decided to go to Canva and do mock up "re-do's" or 40 books I have around here, using their photo database and the data off the covers or title pages. It was a great way to quickly try out some of the GD items you have taught us in this intro and 2 part follow-up, and I found that when I came back to finish up the last few sessions of part 2 I heard a whole new level of understanding. Thanks for tipping us off to Canva as a place to work quickly for such things as dummy mockups without having to mess with the Adobe products when it is just a quick and dirty test out that is wanted...great tool indeed! Thanks again, and keep up the good work! Cheers, Stu Harvey

I've read books on graphic design, but the concepts never quite "clicked" where I could apply them. However, between this course and Mr. Deighan's other course of Graphic Design Theory (Vol. 1), I feel like I have a great understanding of the fundamentals of graphic design. The lectures are short (many about 5 min or less) with information that's presented in a clear manner and supported with multiple examples so you can see the concept in action. Great course!

This and the first Volume really takes you to the whole theory on design, a lot of golden nuggets and principles found. I recommend this to everyone looking to make graphics on Canvas or as a Digital Marketer.

After watching Volume 1 I immediately went and picked up Volume 2 also. Jeremy once again does an amazing job providing graphic design theory in a way that's easy to understand, yet comprehensive. His Canva Course series works so well together that I would recommend everyone pick it up and save yourself time and money when creating images or graphics of your own!
