Very informative for me as an amateur photographer. Great explanations on wide angle to telephoto lenses and their attributes. I will now think more about what lenses to use in certain situations.

Good training. Would of liked to seen the picture examples with the shutter speed, aperture, and ISO values in relation to the individual lens used for the picture taken...but still a real good training on what lenses are available for both full frame and crop sensor, and how they work.

This course is excellent. Absolutely brilliant! The explaination is very clear and straight to the point throughout. He explains about the focal point, the Aperture, the F number, how the lens works and much more. So many of the main lenses are covered in detail. Although this course is specific to Canon DSLR, once one has finished the course, he or she should be able to translate the information when selecting lenses for a different make of DSLR cameras as the basic concept remain the same. The resource files provided are very good.

Boring delivery, redundant and overly simplistic content (i.e. what wide angle and telephone lenses are used for ). Why include content about 2 random kit lenses. Found 70% of content useless and I am still an amateur.

As a novice, I found the instruction on lenses very helpful. I learned which alternative brands are good, and which are not, and at which mm. I think I finally understand the difference between an F-stop and focal length. I learned which lenses would be best for the type of photography I want to do ... pictures of my art, which would be a flat surface right up against a background ... so, that's important. And even though I knew better, I did rush out and buy a used EF-S 18-135mm from Ebay. But thanks to Jeremy's excellent lecture on buying used lenses, I knew just what to check for and am now confident that I bought a good, quality lens.

Overall a very good course. In places it was a tad too technical for me but once I become more comfortable with my equipment I’ll go back to those sections and review them again. Bottom line is I wish I had taken this course before spending THOUSANDS of dollars on prime, zoom, telephoto and supertelephoto lenses. So does my wife!

If you want to not only know what lenses will be best for your style and type of photography but also how they achieve the results your looking for then this is an excellent class to take. Take this class before you buy random expensive lenses, you will have a better understanding of what you are purchasing and if it will do what you want before you waste your money. Great class!

Lots of really good information about selecting and using lenses. I would have liked to have information on some other accessories like tripods, monopods, and remote shutter releases. Overall, well pleased
