This course gives you a chance to learn the basics of blockchain and be part of the global blockchain narrative, innovation, and adoption. The first section of this course will be focused on understanding Blockchain technology. In the second section, we'll look deeper into the Bitcoin protocol as we seek to understand the consensus algorithms that make Blockchains extremely secure. Here we'll focus on understanding the basics of the proof of work consensus algorithm pioneered by the Bitcoin protocol.

In the final sections, we'll focus on use cases of Blockchain. Here are the key industries to be covered in the course:

This is a good stepping stone for any newbie and sets a good path to take the 10-module course. However, I found less use of global examples and more from the Africa region. Including examples of implementation by government, multilateral and related might have made it better.
