Just another so called minister more impressed with themselves and their "knowledge" than in in teaching the WORD OF GOD. Too many "study guide" that does not go along with the lectures. Poorly constructed, poorly delivered and does not deserve the one star other than the material is available. I will finish this course despite the presentation but I if I based the course on the presentation only, I wasted my money.

Dr. Jeremiah provided an indepth study of the main characters of the book of Genesis filled with practical applications. I appreciated his logical approach as he presented a clear biblical worldview. I have found nothing like it on Udemy. I am sharing it with everyone I know. Thanks, Udemy, for making this course available to students around the globe even when they cannot pay.

I really enjoyed the course and the way that Pastor Jeremiah preaches. I'm not sure that I found the exercises helpful as my answers as a housewife didn't go into the depth as Pastors, which is why I didn't give it 5 stars. Learning about the characters was so helpful as they come over as ordinary every day people, instead of people with such great faith that I could never hope to have. Looking forward to the next course. Ps. I listen to Pastor Jeremiah's teaching every day over the internet on Turning Point which I would greatly recommend to those who are not able to get to Church, or to those who seek good teaching throughout the week as well. (I don't work for Turning Point!)

Course is consist from sermons based on christian interpretations of Book of Genesis and links in New Testament. Preacher is biblical inspired and very good in transfer christian life experiences. Also it gives some context of stories in Genesis. It could encourage you for deeper searching context of Bible and heart of its message.

Where did the beginning chapters of Genesis go? Why did it skip straight through to Abel. And why do the videos stop mid sentence AND mid word? Is this a class lecture or a church service? I don’t understand how you can obtain credit for things learned in church. I already have advanced studies outside of church, I was hoping for a more classroom based lecture. But the church service speaking is great, for a church service! 2nd RATING/INCREASE IN STARS: Ok I found the course content, that is a great read. As I get farther, the course may continue to earn more stars.. Just because I am advanced, doesn’t mean everyone is and this is 101 (Basic)

I just wish there were more classes. I'd like more lectures on specific books of the Bible, or courses on the symbolism of the feasts and or the tabernacle. Perhaps a lesson on what prayer and fasting or the power of proclaiming God's word during spiritual warfare. Things I could apply to everyday life.

The background information with regard to how to study the Bible, teaching points for preachers/teachers of the Word, and the video sermons/lessons are all concisely put together in a way that makes digging deeper a joy for me! I have always enjoyed learning from Dr. Jeremiah whether viewing on TV or listening to him on the radio. Now, I have his teachings on the book of Genesis at my disposal in this format. I also appreciate Dr. Jeremiah's references to other scholarly commentators and books that I look forward to using as well.
