The trainer needs to explain in details about features in Backup Exec product. He did not explain about the differences between Incremental-Differential backup among other topics. The tool is not complicated to understand, but it would have been better if the trainer had taken longer to explain about concepts, then just clicking 'next' without explaining. There is room for improvement. However, I appreciate your effort.

This course is only covering very basic info on Backup Exec. I would expect that it can cover the BE Catalog backup and physical server restore.

CONTENT NOT COVERED: *common troubleshooting issues or how to troubleshoot failed backup jobs. *custom install options or upgrades from older versions *Installation levels of bronze,silver and gold *Zero mention of Cloud and deduplication storage *deduplication backups * Backups for SQL, sharepoint, linux, Unix * No mention of Simplified Disaster Recovery backups and restores *HyperV VM backups is covered but no mention about Clustered storage or Hyperv Cluster node enviroments. WHO WILL THIS COURSE BENEFIT: If you are small business with a single hyperv node needing to do VM backups or want to do backups of MS exchange server mailboxes, file servers and active directory then this guide will help you achieve this. SUGGESTION: Best booking a course through veritas or using Professor Robert McMillen's youtube tutorials.

The screen keeps moving and the dialog is very unclear. Seems to be the worst Udemy course I've selected. The content seem okay.

I did not get much out of this presentation. I actually feel like I could I searched YouTube for something very similar. Good class for an absolute beginner. I have signed up for other online classes through Udemy that actually have a classroom feel and not a presentation feel. Really had a difficult time understanding the instructor. I am going to search again for another Symantec Backup Exec class that focuses on administration more than installation.

This course is for absolute beginners and covers only windows agents installation. It is an older version than whats available now 20.3. Doesn't cover installations and configurations for Linux agents. Virtual Tape and cloud backups as target are not described. How to backup when source and target are connected only to agent machine but not to server. Lots more can be covered.

if it is containing more infos about real Entreprise life : using tapes or robotic magazines and how to configure it will be more good... No comments/ comparatives about different type of backup : - full -differential -incremental

Utilização do restoree de AD e Exchange e o restore da Hyper - V. Porem seria legal ter um exercicio caso eu queira subir a maquina virtual em outro Host, seria interessante, pois tive esse problema na empresa e não consegui achar como restaurar isto no curso. Mas fora essa expectativa, o curso é muito bom.

Good technical education, but am looking for configuring Backup exec with Physical tape library, & VMware infra that i didt find in this calls

It is a good course to understand the basic of Backup-exec from here one can dive into more depth himself easily.

Course was OK for what I needed, if you need to get familiar with the new GUI then this course is for you but if you are familiar with backup exec already, this course isn't in depth enough.
