Regarding the last question (Question 6) of the latest quiz (Quiz 28), I'm not sure how many times I fell asleep while watching those videos. What I am sure of is that while I was able to stay awake, I learned a lot. On May 30th, I took and passed the SCS-C01 exam. Thank you very much, Chandra Lingam, for your excellent work.

The Instructor is very knowledgeable, and explains the concepts very clearly. He give Practical Example of where a particular AWS can be used with use case. Only improvement needed is the Slides, There are too many slide files which is difficult to track . Rather there should one Master slide or Slide per Chapter.

The course is well laid out with theory and labs across the entire content. The refresher sections helps to quickly brush up key core concepts which is a plus. Overall, the course helped me reach my goal-target of learning & development of new knowledge and as a byproduct was able to hit my achievement-target by gaining the official certification successfully.

Thank you Chandra Lingam! I was able to acquire the AWS Certified Security - Specialty Certificate after only doing the AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner Certification using this course and this was with 1 month of prep work using this course. I would recommend going more in depth on KMS, Secrets Manager, CloudWatch, CloudTrail and how these services interact with other services.

I am very happy with this training. This is not an easy subject, there is lots of stuff to cover. I like that there is just enough 'basic' info for beginners; I would not appreciate a baby-step approach to this daunting task, this would take forever. Btw if you don't know the basics, you have to get the training or Google it, this is not for total newbies. Explanations are clear, and concise. At 1.25x this is the perfect speed for me. I highly recommend this training for IT professionals.

This is my honest feedback! I too this course and finished it last week. As for the course material , I would say the provided course are reliable contents. At lest I could not find any other course that would at least cover a complete content in Udemy! As for the final Exam Preparation, It was a bit far from what I have experienced during my exam last week. Maybe you could add more questions close to the exam. Like there were some questions in infrastructure section where they were not straight forward questions! they would really challenge you and you could only answer them if you have touched those area. From Lambda function communication within VPCs to ECS / EKS security . Anyway, I have successfully passed the exam! You need to be realistic. You can not expect from this course or any other course like the ones offered like Stephan Marek to do a magic for you. Keep the great work!

It's hard for me to rate this course: - on one hand I just passed the exam with 914 score. So the course is comprehensive - on other hand I didn't find this course engaging and fun. The teaching style is not the best, slides are poor, awful fonts on some slides. I am a big fan of Stephane Maarek, I like his style way more, it's a shame that Stephane released his course just 3 days before my exam. I think this course is good but there is a better option from Stephane now.

This course is a great preparation for the exam! The best part is without any doubt Labs instructor is doing which are really hitting the point but are easy to follow and to be executed by yourself. Myself personally, with the help of the course, AWS official documentation, the book AWS Security Specialty from Pierce, Koike, Kodandaramaiah, Rosa and a lot of practicing easily passed the exam! I would say the course was the nicest one as is really focused more on the practical side with the labs, while other materials are very theory focused. And theory can be really boring :) One small criticism to close. I usually use .pdf the last day before the exam as sort of the recap and reminder. Having it so chopped is making a bit harder to use, therefore recommend to merge them in order, as would be easier to go through them. Keep up the great work!

Chandra, Congratulations on making this awesome course material. I just passed the Security Speciality exam yesterday, January 7, 2023. And yes, I never fell sleepy in your class videos because it was to the point. :) Regarding course material, it covers all the concepts, details and references you need to pass the exam. All the concepts are explained in very simple terminology, even cloud begineer can understand. Like chandra, I also highly recommend to go through the papers/documents link shared in the course. Practice exam given with the course is bonus. I highly recommend this course to all students/professional who are working in AWS domain or pursuing to work in AWS domain. Thank you Chandra! Hello Chandra , I like the course content starting from Basis to expert . it took longer time for me to complete the course and practice test but eventually i passed the exam in this week. I like the course content and even to pass exam i took hands-on. I have one suggestion from my side to include AWS IAM policy evaluation logic flow. Thank you for course !!!
