What you will learn

In this course, students will be very comfortable in turning parts and components into assemblies from the ground up.

Why take this course?

Mechanical assembly is a fundamental process that involves piecing together individual parts and components to create a complete product or execute a specific function. This process is essential in various industries such as manufacturing, automotive, aerospace, and engineering.

To become proficient in mechanical assembly:

• One needs to have a solid understanding of modeling

• In-context and top-down assembly,

• The ability to turn solid bodies into components.

In addition, creating sub-assemblies, importing non-native 3D files, enabling contact sets to prevent component interference, and creating joint limits are also crucial skills.

The Fusion 360 course aims to equip learners with all these skills and more.

The course provides highly detailed instructions that help learners follow along with ease, including exercise files included in every lecture. Upon completion of the course, learners will receive both a Udemy Certificate of Completion and an Autodesk Certificate of Course Completion.

One of the main takeaways from the course is the importance of sketches and constraints in component creation. These fundamental concepts are critical in understanding how to explore complex mechanisms and assemblies confidently. In summary, the Fusion 360 course is an excellent resource for anyone seeking to enhance their skills in mechanical assembly and acquire new knowledge in the field.

The videos are very clear and easy to follow. Also the production is nice, the voice is loud and crisp. I like how everything is straight to the point and right away we start building something, there is no time wasting by over explaining and excessive talking.

This course was able to close the pressing gaps in my knowledge of digital-mechanical-assembly-design. The instructor presented the concepts clearly and beyond my expectations:)!

The course is good, but it would be better with some more explanations. A little more why, not just how. For example, getting a brief explanation of the different parameters when choosing a thread type would be helpful. Another thing that would make the course better is if there was a sketch with the dimensions that I could just pause on once when making a sketch. That way I could make the sketch and then listen without interrupting the lecture by having to pause it. Thanks.

Very thorough. Covers all the paths to accomplish the tasks. That way you get to establish your own method.

The biggest problem is that the lesson is in inches also I wish why things were done or how they worked was explained. He does things with no explanation for why it was done.

This is the first course That has been a challenge for me. To actually create multiple parts for an assembly as a Novice user of Fusion 360 has not been an easy task . Which has shown and taught me more how to manipulate and create designs.
