What you will learn

Students will learn to create assessments and quizzes using Articulate Storyline 360/3 .

Why take this course?

Traditionally, tests measure knowledge at a specific point in time. However, tests can be used as tools to improve subsequent learning.

Assessment and Quizzes allow for automatic feedback in various forms. This can provide a simple way for students to learn as they move through an assessment. Articulate Storyline 360 allows the instructor to design and build quizzes consisting of a large variety of question types, including multiple choice, true-false, drag and drop and short answer questions.

The instructor can allow the quiz to be attempted multiple times, with the questions shuffled or randomly selected from a question bank. A time limit can also be set.

Quizzes can be used for a course exam, a mini-test , exam practice using separate question bank, delivering immediate feedback about performance, self-assessment and graded assessments.

In this course you will learn to :-

  • Create free form quizzes

  • Graded Quizzes

  • Using result slides

  • How to gamify assessment and quizzes

Armed with this knowledge you will be able to create engaging and effective e-Learning projects.

I learned lots of features & techniques in your videos. My complaint is that it seems I get about 1 hour of content in 3 hours of video. There's lots of time spent watching you type or editing formats or taking quizzes or reading menus to us. And it's tedious when you show us a pattern and then show that basic pattern to us another ten times. I'd have like you to branch out. For instance, every time you ran the quiz, after it failed, you restarted it. Could you show us how to reset without quitting? Or if there's a way to have different wrong answers show different layers? Or if it's possible to use variables in questions. Or what happens if we Review the Quiz. You have lots of good knowledge, and I'd like to see more variety in the content than so much repetition.
