Although the course is a good beginners course it should be pointed out that some extremely dangerous practices have been viewed in this course. Considering it is a course for beginners such practices should be reviewed and removed in the interests of Health and Safety and replaced with a safer version. The parts in question are summarised below. Section 8: Relays with Arduino Lecture No. 16: Relay working principle. Time stamp 11:35 - shows bare wire going straight into a mains (240V AC) distribution block’s socket! Lecture then proceeds to show what looks like mains carrying wires twisted together then going into breadboard! The next lecture 17: Interfacing relays with Arduino This continues with said dangerous practices and should also be immediately reviewed and removed. A safer demonstration should added into an updated version of said lectures.
