it would be nice to provide for a more recent version of visual studio, because the stock solution template has changed from 2012 to 2017. The course does provide as advertised pretty concisely.

It's only the 2nd lecture so not much yet on actual course content. However it's well presented and clear so far. Nice and concise. I know it's meant to be a simple example for beginners, but would have been nice to show a skeleton setup for a complex App with separate javascript files since this was a point that was touched on.

This course is a great introduction if you are brand new to AngularJS for .NET. I wish it were longer and went into more advanced concepts. I practiced the examples demonstrated and ran into a few issues: 1. was not able to obtain the angular link from google hosted libraries. This is what I used: https://ajax.googleapis.com/ajax/libs/angularjs/1.6.7/angular.min.js 2. $http().success() did not work. I had to code .then() instead of .success. He explains .then in a later exercise. I completed the course in less than 4 hours including setup and coding along with the lecture

Everything was explained and organized well! Updating the code to the latest version would be awesome as well!

Very informative and practical. If you are looking for an introduction to the angularjs world with MVC, this course is definitely a good starting point. On the other hand, one of the lectures has a section with an outdated code but after a quick research, I was able to fix it and add it to the Q&A.

I already knew angularJS, I also know enough about C#, I just needed to bring the gap and this course did just that!!! Thank you!

Is a really good primer for .NET people who are not familiar with Angular. A nice stepping off point.

The instructor did a great job in presenting the material. The one thing that left it from getting 5-stars was when he copied the JavaScript for the controller from a separate script file (controller.js) and pasted it right into the common shared file (_Layout.cshtml). From that point going forward he updated code in the shared view.

This was an extremely brief but helpful little course. If you're an ASP.Net developer completely unfamiliar with AngularJS then this is the right place to start hands down. If you've started learning AngularJS and having trouble getting it to play nice with ASP.NET code behind, this is helpful but half the content will be beginner review. That's not the reason for docking a star though. That has nothing to do with quality, it's just that the content is a bit dated (I think like 2012/2013)

Not a bad class -- good examples and a real-world scenario, but I felt like there should have been more.

This is good to learn the basics of AngularJS, but it assumes you already know MVC, so if you don't make sure you learn it first from other courses on UDemy. Otherwise it will be a mess for you between client side models/controllers/views and MVC server-side models/controllers/views...
