I am CPA. I was curious to see how this instructor claim to teach accounting principals in an hour. So far he has done a great work doing so. The concept, number and variety of exercises are commendable.

This is a good introductory course with a lot of concepts. A follow-up course with real life examples may be more helpful..

This course it working well for me, although I am struggling to understand how in the equation a plus and a minus, a plus and a plus and a minus and a minus all balance .....?!
If there is a plus and a minus you get zero, if there are 2 plus' surely you get double?
Perhaps this is just a brain block for me.

The segment about dividends and retained earnings was sloppily presented on the white board and so it was a bit confusing. A bit disappointed as this was the area I really needed. It should have been re-shot and I'm surprised it wasn't. Just kind of sloppy in its presentation and the final (important) points were rushed and not thoroughly explained. Assets and liabilities are easily understood, but equity and retained earnings are not, at least not to me. Section 2, Lecture 6.

Good course for beginners in accounting. I took it as a refresher. The instructor tried to explain in easy way. It is a short introduction, although I expected a bit more. I think Trial Balance, Balance sheet, P&L, Statement of cash flows should be included [at least some basic]. Overall, I am satisfied!!

I really liked this course! I bought this course as supporting material as I am doing a degree in accounting in Mexico and I did my schooling in the US so it was really direct and to the point and filled in gaps that I was unsure in my course that I am currently taking.
I would have liked more real world situations in accounting.

Easy to understand. Gives a good overall look, which is a great reminder for me. Haven't used accounting in 4 years, so this is a great refresher.

I would have liked to see more detail where the journaling was concerned. Visually he just wrote it out and i felt there was nothing to go by .
