ACT focuses on promoting psychological flexibility. Psychological flexibility helps clients move around the world by being more aware and engaged with their self and context. This is done through the use of different techniques and exercises that can be done with clients directly in the therapy room. Psychological flexibility can be achieved through 6 core therapeutic processes that include; contact with the present moment, committed action, self-as-context, values, defusion and acceptance. In this Masterclass, we will go through all the 6 core processes providing techniques for each individually.

This Masterclass is for you if you work with clients who present with issues of loneliness, anxiety or depression, low self-esteem, self-harm and chronic pain. Learning the key theories of ACT will help you support your clients better.

This Masterclass focuses on understanding the theory behind ACT, whilst focusing on different techniques that can be used with the clients you work with. Theory will be complemented by practical examples and case studies to enhance your understanding and learning of ACT on a practical level.

This masterclass focuses more on working with an adult population.

It was moderately good. But the sound quality is quite bad. From the beginning, I hardly can hear the co-speaker voice and also the participants. I anticipate the role play so much, but can hardly understand the processes that being used in the role-play. It might be more beneficial if you presented the role play with each processes.
