The ketogenic diet is a very-low-carbohydrate, high-fat, adequate-protein dietary approach.

By restricting carbohydrates from your diet, over time your body will begin producing KETONES for energy INSTEAD of glucose from carbs.


This is known as a state of KETOSIS.


By reducing the amount of carbohydrates, your body’s blood sugar levels will be low enough to promote the release of  fatty acids from your fat stores.


Ketones are produced when those fatty acids are broken down by your liver through a process called Ketogenesis.

These Ketones then replace glucose as your body’s energy source.


The keto diet also helps you wean off of the dopamine addiction that comes from spiking blood-sugar, and has been  shown to raise good cholesterol (HDL), lower bad cholesterol (LDL), and  lower triglycerides in overweight people.


What many people find helpful on the ketogenic diet is that hunger pangs goes way down and therefor making it easier to  consume less calories.


Without constant insulin spikes, for example, your body can more easily take advantage of leptin induced satiety.

Great information. I think everyone has heard of the Keto plan, but we don’t know how to make it work or where to start. This course helped explain all of that and more. Time will tell, but I think I know enough now to make it work for me. One suggestion would be to be more specific about quantities and dosages. For example, the course mention MCT oils during the three Keto hacks section, but doesn’t mention how much we should take. It would be helpful to know that. Overall, the course is well worth the time.

I learned so much from this course! I had done Keto before, but more or less blindly. Thanks to Tim Ernst, I understand the ins and outs more thoroughly, and I will take his 30-Day Challenge armed with the valuable Science, Knowledge, and Tips provided throughout his Keto Course!

Lots of good tips, but if you copied all the text on the screen - which forms the bulk of what is spoken, it would fit into a 20 page booklet. And then there's the 'extra' expenditure that's expected. Towards the end of the course , the first 'Bonus' is a 'quiz' to get your 'personalised keto meal plan'. It says: "All you have to do is... Take the 4-minute quiz here to build your Personalized Meal Plan" Actually, what you have to do is answer 10 questions (on an external website), then read through a VERY long page which 'sells' the meal plan. It says it's written by a Doctor(Dr Chai Lee) but at the bottom of the page, there's a huge disclaimer which can be summarised as: 'Nothing here has any verifiable value, and makes no promises whatsover. You should seek advice from a qualified Doctor before doing anything this website suggests' If you do decide to proceed, then it's gonna cost you $49 for your meal plan (which the subject of this course implies is part of what you've already paid for), which, as I said, also makes no promises whatsoever about losing weight. The next 'bonus' is a resource that promises 3 reasons why people fail on a Keto diet. This is another external website, which sells a product called 'KApex' - which retails at the 'bargain' price of nearly $80 for 120 tablets - but you are recommend to take 3-8/day - so that's over $5/day if you take the full amount! So, basically, 20 pages of text for £69.99 (approx $87) that requires a further expenditure of $49 to actually get your 30-day diet plan and to make it work, a further expenditure of $2-$5.33/day in order to make it work properly

I really liked the course. Everything´s explained pretty good and you can download the material to re-read it if needed. I usually get pretty confused until I figured everything out so an example week would be great or a 30 day meal plan for the 30 day challenge would be awesome. Overall you get enough info and the keto approved list - with the knowledge from the course and a Little work it should be doable. I did the whole course first and just started with the keto diet.

Too bais. Tooooo many lectures for just 3 or 4 min and repetitive info. The nut shell, stop eating and you will lose weight. Is that a rocket science. Eat one meal a day and you lose weight. Total waste of time and money.
