Why take this course?

Join me as I explore 10 different code editors.
A code editor is just a fancy way to say an place on your computer (or the web) where you can practice your coding skills.

There are so many different ones out there, but here a collection of my favourite ones.
As you try a variety of different code editors, you start to get a better feeling for coding (programming) in general.
That's because sometimes one editor starts you off with many clear examples to choose from, and you can edit a few words to see the results. Other times the editor will offer great feedback to better respond to any basic errors or problems you are having with the examples you are using.

Each program has its own pros and cons.
Each program is useful in its own way.
And each program has its own cool features.

Coding is a lot like playing the piano.

At least that's what many of my best programming instructors used to say.
The best way to practice is to take out your hands.
Place them on the keyboard and start hitting those keys.

Making mistakes and not producing the best result is all natural and part of the process.
So don't be afraid to jump into this new world.

It's always good to explore the many different coding programs out there.
Come join me and together we will continue on our coding journey.
