This course was exactly what I needed to help me set up a better functioning YT channel and to better understand what SEO does and how it actually works. I thought I had things decently set up for the last year and it was slowly working but man I was missing out on some key information that was perfectly explained throughout this video course. Within the first 5-10mins of the first lessons I was already making changes to my channel and but the end of the first lesson I saw results from my analytics regarding those changes!!! It's was worth the money just for those simple but very important changes! Highly recommend this video course to any size of creator or beginner with zero information! Thank you!

That was indeed a great course with many insights, even for someone like me who studied SEO at university. There were practical instructions on how to create an efficient YouTube channel from scratch without spending much money (maybe just a little on a new microphone, but that's it). The author clearly explains how to configure your channel right from the beginning, offers advice about video posting rates and scheduling, and, in the end, provides plenty of tools to boost your channel. Additionally, there are several hacks about tags, keywords, video editing, and even the importance of metadata in your video files. What's more, the course includes additional materials like lists of links, thumbnail templates, and so on. I'm completely satisfied with this series — quick, clear, and effective. Thanks.

This is my second course on becoming a YouTube creator. It had a surprising number of tips that the other course did not! I look forward to using them as I begin my YouTube journey. Some of the information was basic, but that worked for me because this is my first youtube channel. Some of the later videos had more advanced details that I will come back to as I get more channels.

This is an excellent course for those interested in starting a YouTube channel or enhancing a channel they currently have. Scott broke down every single detail across the four sections and subsections. Sections included an introduction, filming and editing, SEO (search engine optimization), and views. As someone who is fairly new to YouTube and has a background in marketing, it was fascinating to see how YouTube infiltrates with systems like Canva to create banners and channel art. There are many customizations I never knew existed. One thing I really enjoyed about Scott’s presentation is that there was no background noise or distractions; he shared his screen when instructions were more detailed, so it was easy to follow along. For example, I could view Scott’s screen and button clicks as he was setting channel preferences, as well as when he reviewed recommended equipment for creating video content; he would pull up links to products and walk through coupon codes, differences between models, etc. When Scott wasn’t sharing his screen, he would settle for a simple background with muted colors. It felt as though the videos were made just for me because of the lack of outside noise and his eye contact with the camera. Overall, I would absolutely give this course 5 STARS! I have a family member who created a gardening channel about 6 months ago, and he often asks me how to gain more followers given my marketing background. This is exactly what I needed to watch to help him further monetize his channel and gardening passion project. I would highly recommend!
