Great run-through of all the analytical tools of YouTube. But the videos is very poorly edited, unfortunately. It can get very tedious. There is some very good tips among the instructional stuff, but most of the knowledge is easily accessible on YouTube's own guidelines and help texts.

only common information. every one know that more views more subscribers means more income. but how now one know that , this course also not help how to do that, only show work of other you tubers. but how they get success did not mention in this course. i must say i wast 1hr of my life .

NO. The first 5 videos are spent talking about what he's going to teach instead of actually teaching. Most of the tips amount to looking at what other channels are already doing and doing obvious things like adding a subscribe link to your video, or tagging it appropriately. Our channel currently has less than 100 subscribers, and I've learned nothing new from this. The most successful things we've tried were not even mentioned here.

So far (only 3 lectures in, so I'm not sure why a review comes up so early), there's not anything new that most YouTube content creators don't already know: yes, yes... tags, content, "no magic formula," analytics, etc. Here's hoping it gets more informative soon. UPDATE: Now that I've finished the course, it really DIDN'T become more informative. Basically, he narrated a loooong review of the things in the dashboard--and most of them are already understood as common sense. He spends way too much time saying out loud things you can plainly see, esp. when going over numbers (yawn) of so many other successful users. One GLARING thing left completely out--which was the primary thing I and I'm sure a LOT of others were wanting to learn--is HOW to generate income via YouTube. Early in the lectures he shows an average of income breakdown on something, but not HOW. I want my 2 hours back.

This course was an informative introduction to understanding YouTube videos. One of the segments had frozen video that did not go with the soundtrack. It was a lot of information, so I may go through this course again.

This course is exactly what its name says it is. It shows how to do analyses on your videos and techniques for video marketing. It goes into very good detail so that anyone doing video marketing on YouTube would be able to perform detailed analyses of their videos and thus allow some corrective variation in practices in order to increase their click through rates. I highly recommend this course for anyone who wants to increase their capabilities in video marketing. Thank You.

This is an excellent course for beginners starting out on YouTube, but not so much for people who are already doing it. Clarity of concepts and presentation is good. But intermediate users, my find not much to take away from it.
