Interesting course but it is more a serum overview of the parameters than a really sound design course and music production. I could find it more interesting to have an additional sections with math/sound theory and examples of sound creation (going through different kind of sound such as bass, lead, etc.)

This course was helpful to learn what serum is and what each part does. There are also portions of the lecture that don't go in depth about serum and what they all mean. I was also expecting some sort of instruction going into sound design and music production, but I did not see that. I think the title could use a change to more accurately reflect what is being taught. With my feedback being said, the course was still helpful to learn the basics of what serum offers.

Decently thorough walkthrough of the Serum interface, but very little content on music production and sound design. If you already understand sound design and just need to learn the Serum interface this is probably a good course for you. I was looking for more on the theory of sound design and how to craft good sounds which this course is lacking.

The reason I bought this course was sound desing what the course is completely missing. Good overview of Serum, Serum FXs, also synthesis, but: Would have been nice to see tutorials on how to create sounds [aka Sound design] (percs, bass, leads, pads, stabs, etc), what the general properties of some sounds are (bass mono-d, pads long attach time, a lot more) What issues you will run into whle creasting your sounds like: phasing issues, mudding the mix, and so on and so forth

I really enjoyed the course. I wish there was a little more on the design aspect as in using some of the effects together to make various sounds like these are more bass ideas or these are trance synths etc. But it does lead the way to exploring these yourselves so it does exactly what it set out to do. Good Job :-)

yes I am taking Tomas George's Ableton Live 10 class too and he explains things so much better. The production value is much better than other trainings I have taken on other sites, zoom on Serum, Tomas's mic sound and mix levels, and also I like how the videos autoplay the next one so I don't have to exit full screen and click on the next one.

Thank you guys for this well-designed course which covers all major aspects of Serum. I was also happy with the Ableton Live 10 course by Tomas (who is a very good instructor) and I enrolled to this one too without hesitation. Definitely recommended! I don't know what else you are planning, but a comprehensive Ableton Push 2 course would be great! :) Cheers..

The course is focused on the tools that serum makes available. There is no mention of Music Production in any way and of Sound Design. However, this is a good course for those who need to know Serum. I would have just spent less time on the effects part and added chapters on the Sound Design. Otherwise it is better to change the title or the expectations could be missed.

I'm a few videos in and feel like this course is more about what Serum is capable of, what the nobs are for. It feels like a Serum tutorial and not really a sound design course. It's very well done though. I'll finish the course and see how I feel and adjust my rating if needed.
