  1. Read the task

  2. Watch the video

  3. Have a go at it yourself on your own system

  4. Rewatch the video (if necessary) - to reinforce the learning

You will need to access to Xero Online. We give you the link to access the FREE online version. This will be sufficient The instructor is online to answer student queries daily and is in the middle of writing a book about this software.

The course materials includes:

  • the handout of the assignment task

  • show you how to access the software for free

Successful completion of the course is the equivalent to being at the level of having a level 2 certificate in computerised accounts.

I could not find where to download course paper from? sent an email but no reply. Did not know this course is based on UK financial system and I am in Australia. so, not relevant to our tax system

What is shown on the course does not match up to what I have on my Xero system. I had to troll through the one I have to find the items (such as tax number

I loved the course; I learned Xero enough to use it. I just wished the videos were edited to remove the areas with the little back-and-forths so that we get exactly the good stuff.

Uses an outdated version of Xero (the link given doesn't work). The tutor does not appear to overly familiar with the software.

Learnt a bit but got a little lost at times. Handy that you can go back and watch as much as you like.

The lady was very confusing. Going back and forth. Getting things wrong. Didnt really explain anything. Course so old that Xero is now different and the UK one is very different. Couldnt download the link to the training one. Had to find it online and it was a different set up to learning one. Couldnt do the VAT part as mine very different. Really felt it was not worth the money

As a newly matriculated student, who dropped accounting, and has no prior financial or software experience, I am truly grateful for the, dedication to detail and clarity that the tutor has provided. Thank you so much! You have made Accountancy fun for me!

Perfect match for me, the only accounting software I had used so far was Sage Business Cloud and have always been keen on using Xero. Getting my hands on the course was very exciting and I got to know my way around Xero quicker than I would have on my own. Highly appreciated! :) Thank you Lisa.

Not the best course... the teacher is very slow, makes lots of mistakes and is not really sure where everything is or how to do things. It seems like the teacher is also the student and struggling to understand the material and course information. Not very professional in my opinion.

She takes too long to rectify her mistakes, also starting out you'd have to open a Demo company in Xero called Clever Computers, later in the course she is transacting in a company called Tpt?As a learner you would want to mirror the tutor through practice on the Demo, but cannot do so as the tutor is working in a completely different company.

My downloaded Xero is different to the one in the course. I think the Xero System was updated since this was created on the 2017 version.

I was taking this course to get a basic understanding of Xero. I can navigate through it. Whats frustrating is how much time was wasted by her mistakes.. Its good to be shown how to rectify issues however that is how it should have been explained. Not have to sit and watch her figure out and correct her many mistakes. The volume is also recorded super low so unless I have earbuds in, it is difficult to hear.

Course was good. Some of the videos could have been reshot as there is quite a bit of wasted time on some videos, but overall good descriptions and very helpful for beginners

THE XERO ONLINE PAGE I AM LOOKING AT IS DIFFERENT TO THE TRAINERS SO I AM HAVING TO SEARCH AROUND FOR A THE SAME LINKS THAT SHE IS CLICKING ON. I realise now that it is because her training was done in 2017 and i am learning to use this is 2022 so changes clearly have been made.
