First course I got most of the way through, and quit on. Honestly, that's not all on the content, but much of it is. Specifically, the lecturer is a bit sloppy in his coding. Worse, I note that other students ask for help, and get none. But, I guess the nail in the coffin was that Maui is out, and all other factors being equal, I feel I should probably put my time into timely learning of current techonolgies.

The instructor explained things well up until the Blood Donor application. But, now it feels he is hurrying and not explaining what things do very well. Especially in the adapter class..

It's very good. Note you need to add an import to the MainActivity.cs using Android.Widget; I was expecting Xamarin Forms, but I suspect it will be fairly easy to adapt to that. It may be that this will be better for accessing the bluetooth api in native mode anyway. I like this guy's style, he is very calm and laid back. The video quality is a little low, but I can make out what he is doing.

The instructor does not explain what he does in some lectures. Some lessons are not thoroughly explained and he moves on too quickly from one topic to the other. He builds great apps, and is probably a great developer, but not a great teacher.

Some of the code was buggy. There is no seek bar or text field, there is a slider and a label. The code failed at mySlider = FindViewById<Slider>(Resource.Id.mySlider). I could not complete the application.

Great course! This course would have been better except for the broken dependencies/conflicts between AndroidX and Guava. Which will be a a barrier to many for the final quarter of the course. You mess up nuget in anyway, and it may be a redo. This example makes me never want to use Firebase--ever. Too many conflicts that haven't been resolved over years. A better solution would be connecting to Azure SQL Database using a mobile app service and REST APIs. Firestore for Xamarin just sucks.
