Create Massive Worlds with MEGA Terrains in World Machine

The instructor uses multiple applications and ends up with far worse results than someone who just uses World-Machine alone. His terrain is totally unrealistic. Complete waste of money.

It feels a lot like it wasn't well planned - very on the fly. Seems like there was a lot of fiddling around vs. it being a great informative lesson.

I would have preferred a course entirely in World Machine. It was hard to listen to the lecturing at times, and the random off the cuff rambling on and on. The landscape produced was very unrealistic too. I regret buying this course. Sorry

An amazing teaching skills , I have not seen by far anywhere . This course is not about reading the technical document but very practical and precise . You will understand everything clearly and you will love it . Most of the courses I took was about what each thing do , and not how to use them to create something usable , but this course does the job . His teaching skills are just flawless.

It was a good match for me, the only thing I would like to have seen is an export into Unreal Engine. If that was present I would have gave it 5 Stars.

Has this instructor ever seen a satellite photo of actual terrain before? This course is a joke. The methodology produces hilariously bad results, and can only ever produce hilariously bad results because of the technique employed. I wish I'd paid more attention to the sample clips before buying.

Finally, a course that actually teaches you advanced techniques in World Machine, rather than going over the basics, or creating a mountain. Enjoyed every moment. Very informative, and it finally gave me the necessary knowledge to actually create a large world. Thanks!

This course would be a 5/5 instead of 3/5 stars. The only reason is I only have the Basic Free Version of World Machine. I can't follow along with the course unless I spend $120 on the cheapest version of World Machine (Indie License) because I can only make a terrain that is 512x512 Resolution instead of the 4Kx4K the instructor insists on. I got this course when it was $9.99 to save money. Not to spend a ton. Other than that, he does seem very knowledgeable about making good looking terrain for a Massive World. That much is very true. I just wish he would either make an option for someone who can only get the Basic Version of World Machine, or give a big, fat warning on the course page that it requires paid software, for those like myself, who didn't know.

Making large terrains in World Machine has been something I've been trying to do for a long time. All I could find are tutorials about how to make a single mountain or a small island. this tutorial hits exactly where I need it too and so far is easy to understand and structured well.
