The concepts of "World Class Manufacturing" & "Lean" are very critical to build successful organizations which are driven by high efficiency in operations & ability to sustain and grow in difficult business times. These concepts are particularly very useful in the present times, due to stiff competition in various business sectors & ever demanding needs of the customer. These concepts are universal in applicability and can be easily deployed in both manufacturing as well as various other types of operations.

In the first section on "World Class Manufacturing", we aim to give learners a good insight on the concepts of WCM, Historical perspective, philosophy of WCM & how the WCM tools can be applied in organizations. It is covered in 4 Lectures.

These Lectures are a bit longer than the typical Udemy length & run from about 10 minutes to about 25 minutes in duration. The Lectures will certainly impart you with a good grasp of these topics & the ability to deploy these tools in your organizations.

In the second Section, which is on "Lean ", we aim to give Learners a practical insight on what is meant by "Lean", understanding the concept of Value, value adding and non-value adding activities, VSM and fundamental tools to implement the concept of Lean in any organization. It is covered in 3 Lectures.

These Lectures run from about 13 minutes to 30 minutes in duration & cover multiple topics which are very essential to gain a thorough understanding as a "Lean practitioner".

There are various multiple choice Q&A at the end of every Lecture to test your grasp of the topics and understanding of the Lecture. There are also a few thought provoking questions to make you think during the various phases of Lecture.

All these Lectures have been prepared keeping in mind the simplicity of delivery to facilitate a good grasp of all topics covered in the course. Great Course which helped to understand the Concepts of WCM & Lean manufacturing Practices. The Course focusses on Various Tools & Techniques like Kaizen, Pull System, Value Stream Mapping, TQM which helps to improve Quality, Productivity & Waste Elimination. Highly recommended for persons working at various levels in manufacturing sector. Every industry should strive to implement the techniques explained to change the Work Culture, aim on Continuous Improvement, focus on Value added activities so as to benefit the Customers

It was an excellent presentation. The concept of WCM was well explained. The concept of Infinity loop, elimination of waste will benefit the Organisation. Excellent insight on concept of world class manufacturing. I have not found this concept any where else in Udemy. The best part is this course covers both concepts of Lean as well as WCM together.
