Working with FileMaker Starter Solutions

A great learning experience into a new field, learned much and could learn a lot still. The instructor is very capable and engaging. Of course this is only an introduction so there's a lot more to learn. Well done John I enjoyed!!!

Great for a beginner to get some very basic knowledge of the Starter solutions. Unfortunately it's not enough to do more than keep track of one feature at a time. It would have been nice to learn how to setup "Relationships" properly, which is what I was hoping for. All in all, I did learn some new things that I hadn't seen in other tutorial videos.

This video delivers on its promise, anyone that's absolutely new at any kind of "Finding" or "Sorting" records in any app like Excel or FMP, finds in this video the necessary understanding to move forward successfully. I'm new to FMP so i didn't want to miss out on any basics and made sure i got through this one. Like I mentioned, if you're new at the way to retrieve information from a spreadsheet like data base or more precisely from a data base like FMP, this is the way to start. Although i'm an Excel power user, I enjoyed this training video. There's always some new thought and understanding to gain from divers approches on a particular subject; JMO makes the investment of time and money worthwhile. Good training to all. John Mark Osborne is a Fantastic Instructor! S Stars! or better 5 Diamonds!!! He can explain complex concept in a easy to understand baby steps for new learners. He explains the "why" in a way to learn it from an analytical perspective and also logical, " Why it make sense". Thank You Mark Osborne !!
