Great course. Instructure is very easy to understand. I only wish he had made a course that was more complete such that it prepared you fully for the Wireshark Certification. If he made such a course, I would purchase it without hesitation.

I've used Wireshark in the past with some success, but until I took this course I never knew why I had the limited success I did. The course takes the student step by step in getting comfortable with Wireshark and then each lesson builds on the knowledge learned in the previous lecture until the power of Wireshark is revealed. With additional lectures on TCPDUMP and how to use it I highly recommend this course to someone interested in learning about networks and security.

Excellent course. I learned a whole lot more quickly from your course than i could from a book. Your style of teaching is wonderful. You should think of creating a course in Networking troubleshooting with Wire shark and TCPDUMP. Very good course form Network Administrators

This course goes over all the relevant basics of Wireshark. So by the time you are finished you could start using Wireshark and then increase your learning from that point.

Having previous hands-on exposure to Wireshark, I found this course to be a great overview of the application. Even though I work with Wireshark regularly, I found the first few sections useful as a review. The section on Analyzing Traffic highlighted some key concepts and technical details that were definitely helpful for me to make better use of the tool. I feel like the course covered the important points for using Wireshark, and I appreciate that it did so without being very lengthy.

This course is a great way to get up and running with wireshark/tshark. The instructor does a good job of making sure the user has an understanding of basic network traffic structure and then takes you all the way through some basic network protocol analysis. I'd definitely recommend this to anyone new to wireshark.

A great Wireshark primer. Shows you the basics of use and provides you with resources you can use to further your own knowledge. Hopefully in the future a more advanced course that focuses on the CLI tools of Wireshark (tshark,mergecap,capinfos,etc) will be available.
