What you will learn

At the end of this course you will know how to do a multi camera live stream to Facebook or Youtube and more using Wirecast 7.

Why take this course?

Livestreaming events should not have to be so difficult. Not even setting up multiple cameras to effectively capture an event should. Armed with the Wirecast 7, you can efficiently and effectively livestream events and even use your iPhone and iPad as a camera source for recording or streaming, via the Wirecast cam app. Suddenly, the possibility of what you can do and achieve becomes endless. For old Wirecast users, they understand exactly what I am on about. If you new to Wirecast, hold on, be prepared to be mesmerized and blown away.

I recently used Wirecast to perform a 3 camera facebook live shoot for an event for an educational organization in California, and my audience literally went nuts. They were absolutely awed, and vehemently wanted to know how I did it, and most importantly, how they themselves could set it up. Honestly, I was surprised at their reaction. To think I was just having a go at a software I absolutely love and know a lot about.

In the end, especially judging by their interest, I decided to do a tutorial series. It is basically two hours and 45 minutes of pure magical content, where you are going to learn to wave the magical Wirecast wand and be a pro at it. very detailed...the instructor has the cadence and tone of a patient parent. However, it would be nice if he covered Wirecast 11.

Of the two courses I have taken on the subject, this was the better one. As a broadcast professional I was able to keep up with the course but would have liked a little more in-depth. Perhaps hardware integration, PTZ camera setup, audio-desk usage, disk recording options, and best practices. Like the other course, this is a reasonable overview but not what I would call full training. However, for ten bucks, was worth the money.

Clear and to the point without a bunch of jibber-jabber that is not needed. :) ~ Connie https://www.youtube.com/c/bluerocktalkwithconniewillis

Great overview. There were some topics (such as in ISO Playback) where the instructor didn't know what certain features/options did. Would have prefered to get the material the first time through rather than waiting for an update to fill in the knowledge gaps. Overall -- a great course and would recommend it to anyone looking to get started with Wirecast.
