Instructor offers canned, sounds good on the surface, unusable, unreliable information. Here are some of his "gems" in the course: -'You can start a business, and after a while you will make better and better decisions.' -'You will get senioritis so deal with it' -'Get a professional company like mine to review your work' -'Start a blog as another way to make money' -'Make a relationship with those around you' -'Here's my website and email at the end of every 1.5 minute video' None of those things are specific and truly actionable (except see my website). First, to make a business, it takes work and dedication--and a group of people who want your product--similar with a blog. Offering generic advice doesn't help either. His timeline is impractical and horrible. Not to mention that his hair, appearance, and demeanor are sloppy. I watched 95% of his course hoping it would get better; it didn't. INSTRUCTOR HAS NO PERSONAL EXPERIENCE GETTING SCHOLARSHIPS AS HE MENTIONS SEVERAL TIMES THAT HE DIDN'T GET SCHOLARSHIPS AND HAS A HEFTY AMOUNT OF STUDENT LOANS. He is offering theoretical advice instead of good usable information.

Excellent experience: information was clear, concise, and chronological. So far, this course does not focus specifically on sports or fine arts scholarships, but rather on general college scholarship search guidelines that anybody can use. Would definitely recommend to any high schooler/parent of a highschooler.

Thank you so much Christian; I like the fact that you are an ambitious person. This course was very informative, well structured and a fun experience considering that this was my very first course on Udemy. However, I did expect more information about the actual filling of the scholarship application. Besides, some of content was unrelated to me since I live in Canada and I started watching the course only one month before graduation ( probably my fault ). Otherwise, it is a very helpful course which I recommend for any student who wants to know more about scholarships before their last semester of high school.
