Content and Overview

This course is divided into different sections, each consisting of a varying number of short and concise video lectures (typically between 4 and 8 minutes long) that cover specific aspects of wildlife photography. I use a carefully-chosen combination of clips, consisting of 1) me talking directly to you; 2) settings diagrams; 3) videos of wildlife; and 4) striking wildlife photographs. The lectures don't necessarily have to be watched in order. You can jump around and watch whatever catches your eye or specific lectures about topics that you know you are struggling with.

Max15 December 2020

This was a fantastic class. Villiers presents in a easy to understand, extremely helpful manner. I will definitely be taking more classes from him.

Natalie12 December 2020

I found this course to be clear and concise. It covered a good range of topics and was inspiring. My only criticism is that the advice given regarding lenses, visiting private game reserves and using a photography guide is aimed at the wealthy rather than us more budget conscious travelers/photographers. I understand that you often get what you pay for but I would have liked some more suggestions on dealing with poor lighting/angles etc that you will have to deal with on budget safaris. That one issue aside I thoroughly enjoyed the course and can't wait to get back to Africa.

This was an awesome course. It felt like you are just having a conversation with the instructor about photography. The instructor pays close attention to both the technical and tactical aspects of the art. A must for every photographer 10/10.

The amount of technical detail that is covered in such a condensed, yet non - technical, relaxed and contagious excitement of the presenter with plain language explanations and lots of examples makes the course absolutely captivating!!

Victor22 October 2020

I wish I had taken this course before my previous wildlife trips and can't wait to practice my new found knowledge. A great teacher, with a passion for what he is teaching, there is so much useful advice through this course.

Dawie18 October 2020

Although I have been studying up about photography and wildlife photography quite a bit before taking this course, this has been the most valuable and complete learning tool by far for learning to photograph wildlife (and that I will continue to come back to for a long while still). Villiers shares a ton of invaluable information from his first hand experience as a professional wildlife photographer, yet keeps the lessons easy to understand and apply for beginners and amateurs. He uses a lot of real world examples to show exactly what effect certain settings etc would have on your photos, which makes understanding and learning super easy. The course covers a wide array of topics, all packed with valuable information. This course will definitely make you a better wildlife photographer and help you get those perfect wildlife shots you have been dreaming about. Thanks so much Villiers! ?

Armando18 October 2020
