☑ How to plan your day to include time to do what is important to you
This course is designed to share coping skill strategy of time management using technology, more specifically using the OWaves app for iOS which is a simple, fun and easy to use app that lets you drag and drop icons representing important activities such as making time to relax, making time for eating, making time for loved ones, making time for sleep, making time for free-time, making time for working, making time for exercise and making time for play. I found this app to be especially helpful as a student because it allowed me to make sure I put exercise on my plan even though I was busy and kind of like an appointment that I should not miss it makes it feel like it is an appointment and when I carried out the plan as intended it helps me feel like I am using and building my self-discipline muscles.
I used to plan my time with paper and pencil; however, thanks to technology I can use my tablet to plan out my day and week to make sure I have at least a plan of action to ensure I make time for what is really important to me.
If making time to exercise is important to you, why not take the first step and decide when it would be a good time to exercise and then choose an emoji and also write a note of where you will do it.
