Having been overweight all my life and having tried literally everything I thought I had heard it all. But Dr. Weir has a way of explaining things that makes so much more sense. Even what you would think of as the simple first steps, like The Why and Goal Setting makes so much more sense when explained by Dr. Weir. Also the way he explains how it effects the brain is new to me. This is just in the first few lectures. There is so much more! I have tried most every diet on the planet. They all work for a while. I am excited about Dr. Weir's scientific approach, how to essentially re-wire the brain to get myself to do what I want to do. I like Dr. Weir's engaging, yet non-hype delivery of the material. It is motivating to me. I also like the suggestions he makes on how to use body physiology to help the weight loss process. I love that this course is setup to be used by people who actually have weight problems and also have a life. Most courses are long on restrictive diets, exercise routines I can't do, and just plain silly advice. If you are a person who has been sitting at a desk for years like me this is a great course to finally start losing some weight.
