Rest API/Web Services testing with SoapUI+Realtime scenarios

Get this Course if you wanna learn SoapUI from Scratch for API Testing. This course includes more of SOAP API than REST API One of the biggest cons I faced is all the Test Services in Resources were very old and most of them were not working, If its getting updated it would be better. My Suggestion is watch it on 1.25-1.5X and practice throughout along the course.

Perfect lectures for non programmers, each and every class had valuable information and all those were covered in interview question preparations.

I'm now starting the course but, in my opinion, the lessons are done very well. The guy that have done this course is very clear in the explanations

Course is well structured and very detailed. I feel few videos need to be added for REST API automation. Everything else is good. Before starting the course I have zero knowledge on web services testing. Now I can write groovy scripts also. Thanks for the detailed course.

For Sashi's REST API testing course, I give it 2.5 stars for the following reasons : He focuses too much on demonstration with little teaching of principles and instruction. While he demos, he doesn't do enough explanation of what he's doing, why he's doing it and it's significance in the lifecycle of a tester. You will see him add, delete, or type in things without any explanation and he will simply rush through the lesson. To give specific examples: Starting from lesson 45 onwards you can tell the content was rushed and vague. new commands and syntax were being introduced without any introduction or explanation. The instructor almost expected the student to understand what he was doing without any need for an explanation. e.g. he simple typed in groovyUtils.getXmlHolder without explaining why he added that Lesson 51 is titled Jsonslurper but he didn't even explain the significance of Jsonslurper or what it was. Lesson 52 showed him mentioning syntax that he never introduced to us before that he was hurriedly typing in e.g. sheet.getCell (0,rowIdx). What? Are we supposed to follow by intuition? Lesson 53 is rushed, he uses terminology never used before and expects people to follow, no explanation on why he is doing what he is doing on the screen. Lesson 54 is again filled with esoteric jargon that is not easily understood. His exams are questions not discussed or taught by him directly, he expects intuition or prior knowledge to be able to correctly answer the questions, so you are playing a guessing game most of the time. A principle to always remember as a teacher is: 'never test a student on something you never taught them.' Because, if you never taught them, how can you expect them to know? In conclusion, his speaking is clear enough to understand (unlike some other instructors), but lacking in teaching principles, which is crucial if you want to land a job as a tester. You will need to be as self sufficient as possible on the job as a tester and not constantly depending on your teammates for help on everything. I like that he has tried to make his lessons as concise as possible and organized neatly, but the entire course feels lacking in substance.

El curso es facil de comprender aun sin tener conocimientos previos, las explicaciones del instructor son claras de tal manera que se entienden los conceptos y en que pueden ustilizarse en la practica

In my opinion it would be great if you put the "Database Concepts" part before the section "Automation with Groovy" as databases are mentioned in this part.

Because this videos are very easy to understand and there is no tricky and complicated way of explaination

Course content is good. Without basic knowledge, we can proceed with the course for gaining knowledge on webservices. Quality of some videos are not to mark.
