I have never done watercolor painting or really any painting before. I bought some of the basic materials listed in the supplies list, did the course and found it to be super relaxing and fun! I will definitely do more watercolor courses by this author. I found that the practice of painting is uniquely relaxing and rejuvenating, even during stressful times. I look forward to more!!

Pace was just right, encouraged patience with the water color media. Liked the combination of gouache as a par of the water color painting.

Well I am rather new at this and whenever in the past I tried doing some kind of landscape, I always had a hard time with it. I like the different techniques that were taught in this class. The overall result of this course is that I have learned many things that will be applicable to other paintings as of course you carry your knowledge with you from painting to painting. So far, I have watched this class 3 times, once before the actual painting, one during the painting itself often pushing on the pause button in order to do what was demonstrated and watched it once more after the project was completed so I could continue absorbing the information in a more relaxed way and see what I had not totally understood at the time of the painting. If I were to redo this project and I may using a fall scheme and perhaps a different tree, etc. it would be different but I am relatively happy with the results so far. Moving on now to the picture frame class :-)
