Great course. Some back-tracking due to missed steps were required in the last 2 or 3 videos. Though genuine slips, these helped to build confidence as I was able to spot the errors and determine the corrections which were done in the video shortly after. All due to the excellent prior instruction. Proves I am learning something. Good job.

It was an educational course which has made me interested in continuing with visual Basic. It was just a little hard to understand what the instructor said sometimes.

Good content and globally happy with what I learned. The teacher could speak slower, and the sound quality isn't very good. And too bad there isn't much explanation about how to install, set and use SQL Server database, I struggled for hours looking on internet about this, so my first query didn't work it was painful.

This was an absolutely fantastic, first-rate, and 100% value-packed, and, a comprehensive starter course from start to finish. ***** I liked the fact that the course was constructed for an absolute beginner that knew nothing. ***** I felt very comfortable with the fact that the instructor continued throughout the course to keep repeating points, and for me, this was invaluable as I have very short memory retention, so this was extremely beneficial. ***** I liked how the same basic tools were used, BUT, that they were very slowly increased in both there use AND functionality. ***** I liked and valued that the lesson section was short, direct to the point, yet was built on the previous lesson. ***** I wish more courses were like this, designed with simplicity in there training, yet, easily developing new skills. ***** I found that because they were very simple to follow I was not worried about understanding the more complex subject being taught. I found that what may first appear to be complex was executed with one or two lines of code. ***** I found that as I was progressing because the subject had been kept short, simple, and direct. ***** As I progressed I was playing with the code, and surprisingly it was working and doing what I expected / hoped it would do. ***** I was able to watch and repeat the lesson and get the same results, which is not always easy when learning from an online course. ***** Surprisingly, and again, as I was going along, I was not only using the materials here BUT, was out of curiosity, doing online research on that speciific section. And was to some degree understanding what I was reading, or what my screen reader was reading to me. ***** I have got no negative points to this course, this it is totally and 100% completely positive. ***** If I had to mention anything, and it is only a personal wish I would like to have had a few exercise set, and then to be able to see the solutions just to see how I was progressing. ***** But, the above point mentioned... I did this through my online research just to see if I was understanding the subject matter at hand and I was able to understand what I needed to. ***** If you are looking for a great course to learn VB.Net, from scratch, and in a very easy step by step approach, that is very easy to follow!!! then this is a great place to start... ***** What I liked most was that the trainer knew what he is talking about, through the examples working as expected, the fact that he explained what the code was doing, and the outcomes were well executed. ***** ***** If you want to develop and understand vb.net from the ground up and understand the basics then you need to start with this course. ***** Don't hesitate if you want to learn then start here... TRUST ME YOU WILL NOT REGRET IT. Lee Haynes

The first videos in this section have been of poor quality. 50% through the course, the video and sound is very poor, their cam recording software is shit, the image becomes pixelated when he moves the mouse all over the screen, which they do a lot. On the up side, I am starting to like the simplicity of their videos, here is how you do/use/create the common tools and controls. Upping my score from 2 to 2.5

Does not explain what is going to do from the start, and speaks to fast to get it I need to repeat the sequence couple times. I think should done a document before start the class, the student should read (understand what is Integer, String, why use Dim, etc.) it and get ready for the class.

It's informative, but he doesn't give enough explanation as to how or why the code is working the way it is.

after going through course, its really more of a windows forms lesson, rather than in depth vb.net. There is hardly any substance I felt. the very last part where you build an employee record app, is ok, but its very focused on windows forms. did not like it.
