This was a terrific hands-on course that allowed me to learn about Ansible from setup to writing playbooks. I like how it follows a crawl-walk-run format with fundamentals immediately and then builds complexity. I also like the setup of ec2 resources in amazon web services with the different varieties of linux.

The trainer has a not so evident accent and sometimes uses words with wrong meaning. It's probably worst for me because English is not my first language. But overall, this is a good course.

Setting up the AWS nodes is not hard but takes a bit of time to create accounts. It would be nice if the student was provided a .cfg file with the EC2 settings. The course does a great job walking you through the beginnings of using Ansible.

Has allot of useful content but the delivery can be a bit slow in areas where focus leaves ansible and goes onto other bits. While useful it is not exactly in bounds of the course.

Best Ansible course i have taken. Attention to detail is excellent, pointing out each yaml indentation while creating playbooks, this is very helpful. Transition from playbook to roles was explained so nicely. Overall great course.

Other ansible courses were mostly about teaching features and syntax without too much practical usage. This is the only course that I've taken that taught me how I could use ansible in actual situation. For example, other courses I've took talked about and gave example on how to encrypt password with ansible-vault. This is the only course that taught me to use vars_files to read encrypted vault file into a playbook. Same with explanation on roles, error handling, tags, notify, and facts. The other courses taught me about facts but this was the first course that showed me how to use gathered facts to write a single script to install and setup on centos and ubuntu. The only fault I had was that my system is all on vmware and not on aws. That is, sections on aws were unnecessary for me.

Good Course content starting from basics of ansible and then covered creating playbooks in very detailed way. Labs are easy to follow, most of the course is lab based so its very engaging. Few things that can be updated : 1. Deprecation warning for Python is coming 2. Ansible.cfg file is now removed form the location mentioned in the latest ansible release 3. Git/Github authentication from PAT instead of password etc. Overall very good course for learning ansible for DevOps Engineers.
