Need to show troubleshooting steps rather than showing only solution. Archives still do not work for me. Overall an average course. Longer lectures would be appreciated if it meant more detailed explanations. Custom widgets, snippets (php scripts), extras, etc. would have been nice to see as well.

Thank you for doing a good job in this course. You explain enough about what you’re doing to help with some of the more complex parts of MODX. However, I do believe the beginner’s course was easier to follow start-to-finish. In the intermediate course you skipped steps that would have been beneficial to see on the screen. For example, in segment 19 you edited some css and html to make your login information display in a more visually pleasing way; it would be helpful to know where those files are and which ones you edited. Let me know when you get the advanced course up, I’d like to sign up for that as well.

I give five stars for this course. It is not very long but quite practical at the same time. I have some experience with MODX Revolution system and I found this material to be worth to go through.

To get the full benefit of this course, you should already have completed the basic MODX course. This provides a good overview of the Articles add-on, and how to get a full-fledged blog going in MODX. I thought the material was presented pretty well, and provides good depth on the subject matter. If you are getting started out with MODX and having trouble finding the info you need elsewhere, I recommend both the basic and intermediate courses available here to give you a decent foundation. I hope that Mike creates an advanced course to cover some of the more complex add-ons, like MIGX.
