Why take this course?

In these lessons you will start by learning at a beginner level in programming within Blueprints, finding out the basic information needed within all programming development. From this you will start to move into building in more advanced mechanics in an easy to follow step by step approach which will allow you to play around and build your own content to eventually build your own game.

Blueprints are the in house programming tool used by Unreal as a visual programming. This allows for fast development of systems and mechanics within a game environment. This can be used for rapid prototyping of games development system which might be useful to an new developer, or that of someone looking to transfer from one programming language to Unreal.

Hopefully this series will be able to help you develop your own mechanics and systems and will lead you to have a greater knowledge of how to use the Unreal Engine 4 Blueprint system.

Great for begginers. The audio is quite bad but generally this is a good and a very well made follow along course.

Video quality is capped at 720p so it's a bit unreadable, otherwise it's going great! Really intuitive and simple!

Best free course about Unreal engine blueprints for complete begginers, In this course you wont go deep on anything but you get enough to scratch the surface of programming

Expect some very quiet audio with background noise. The instructor is easy to understand and follow even if it's more where to click than why. As a fast free course to get you trying out the basics of Unreal's blueprint system I have little complaint.

Very succinct and concise. Certainly conveys a comprehensive framework and some good knowledge. Presentation was clear, professional, and easy to understand. Only room I see for improvement would be a bit more engagement, but take this with a grain of salt as attempts to engage can distract from the pertinent information. Thank you for this lesson.

I like how short the videos are. its helping me keep track of what im learning. as sombody just starting out im looking to understand how these diffrent nodes specifically work by themselves and with eachother. the short videos also allow for rewarding note taking.

Doesn't explain ANYTHING of what he does and just expects you to already know coding jargon like 'variable' and 'boolean'. Instructor is VERY quiet, have to turn volume all the way up just to hear him.

This is, as stated, a beginner course. But I thought it would be way less beginner, as it's almost for people with no knowledge of coding at all. I think it more or less covers the basics for getting started with BP in UE...however some of the way to achieve results shouldn't be used and are poor, performance-wise. I think it would be better to, at least, let the students know it's just one way to do it, but shouldn't be used in proper product, only for very quick prototyping
