Getting Started with iCloud for Mac, iPad & iPhone

Yes in the sense I need this but it is not working smoothly since the menu on my IPAD is different than the one on the Udemy lesson and I have set up an Icloud account but now I seem to have 2 accounts and I cannot delete or change ether.

While it was informative and explained well - it did not contain any advanced info on how the iCloud works such as explaining the icons (clouds and clouds w/arrows) that are on my Mac or how the storage works. Maybe this was explained in the course description and I missed it. Unfortunately, I was looking for a bit more. Looking forward to an "advanced" class soon.

This course is a waste of money and time and worries me as far as its security. It teaches you how to engage the gadgets, but never how to use the system. How do you send a document to the iCloud? How do you retrieve it on another computer or device? I asked Terry about whether it was necessary to purchase pages or numbers to use the system (making the course much more expensive) and never got an answer. I found a rather murky answer on the internet indicating that you could use word, which is a far more common system than pages, but I am not too sure how. I had a problem following one of the directions because I did not have the icon he mentioned on my system and wrote him a note--once again, he did not clarify. And finally, I found I had received messages "from Terry" that were actually documents sent from work. So I suspect a hacking. I am very alarmed and disappointed and would never recommend this course. And now I cannot complete the course--because for some reason, I haven't been able to access the last step.

Even though I have been using Macs for 13 years, and am pretty capable, I found this course on icloud to be a good refresher to help organize my understanding. I look forward to more in the series, and encourage you to give it a try.
