This course aims to teach you Google Analytics (Universal Analytics) as a tool, including Google Analytics 4 (GA4), but what is more important is to teach you how to use the data to drive your business.

We'll start with the elementary topics, such as how the measurement works, basic metric definition, socio-demo data to website traffic evaluation, UTM parameters, internal site search, and website speed optimization or segmentation.

The course covers both Universal Analytics and Google Analytics 4 (GA4) platforms. Based on your main platform, you can decide which part of the course to take as primary. He doesn't explain things more straightforwardly; it's like he is reading something but it's not natural. I find it a bit hard to understand considering I am a beginner.

This course was extremely helpful in giving me a big-picture overview of UA and GA4. It was heavily weighted for e-commerce, which our firm does not handle. We are more focused on industrial companies. However, I feel much more comfortable utilizing the data and experimenting with the metrics without feeling like I am going to break something on a client's dashboard!

Very good presentation on Google Universal Analytics, only downside is that the presenter stutters a lot, which can give you a headache. Besides that the information is very valuable so thumbs up.

Very outdated course, most of it is no longer relevant. In fact, only lessons 22-24 are useful for anything, but that's the basic knowledge you'll learn form the google's skillshop. Ill-considered and random purchase from my side.

If your here for a GA4 class dont let any of the negative reviews scare you. I spent hours checking if this was a valuable course for GA4 because we all know it was made for UA. And after all of that research i came to the conclusion that its a bit backwards, but very very powerful still. If you're here to learn about GA4 the best tip i have for you is to start with section 24 and understand the GA4 interface. Then, go through each of the previous sections and use that to deepen your understand of GA4 . There are some topics which are useless to GA4 but use common sense and skip past those. Other than that, this is a very in depth course that will still teach you very important fundamentals of analytic tracking and what metrics to learn in GA4. It worked very well for me and if you take a bit of time i believe you can get the same result

It's actually a good course, which uses the small quiz at the end of each chapter to consolidate what you've learned. But unfortunately it doesn't stay that way until the end. Also, there are a lot of voice actors, or it sounds like it, and some of them are really bad. They don't think about what they want to say and accordingly, words like "in the, in the, in the" and "Äääähhhh" and "ÄÄÄhmmm" are massively repeated in EVERY sentence in 10 minutes. There are even places where it's half a minute or more just like that. It's so annoying, you can't imagine.

I wanted insight into google analytics and what it's used for and I feel like I got that. However, I am a designer who is more interested in improving a product/website to create more value for the user. I want to build better products. But this course is skewed more towards using GA to make money, which I think is not totally ethical and not what I was looking for. I would love to know more about how GA can be used as a tool for design.

The tips are not all clearly stated and the google merchandise store has evolved a lot since 2018. Some of the pages are not availabe anymore (Organic keywords for example).
