Create a Blog with Try Django 1.9Advancing the Blog

and

Learn Django Rest Framework in Blog API section to build a powerful RESTful API service.

Django is awesome and very simple to get started. Step-by-step tutorials are to help you understand the workflow, get you started doing something real, then it is our goal to have you asking questions... "Why did I do X?" or "How would I do Y?" These are questions you wouldn't know to ask otherwise. Questions, after all, lead to answers.

This is an Ad-Free Version of the Try Django 1.9 Tutorial Series from our Coding Entrepreneurs Youtube Channel. High Res Video Downloads are also included.

Furthermore, we teach you how to launch on a live hosting service called Heroku.

Over 200,000 students are currently learning from our courses.

Very to the point, I like it's not copy and paste. I was able to take Justin's concepts and tailor them as I went. Still relevant with Django 4.1, although you need some skills to adapt some of it forward. Honestly it helped me learn having to adapt. Only "not awesome" comment was Justin's a fast talker which is a blessing and a curse. You can always go back and pause and internalize what he's doing. If you already know what he is doing, you can just watch as a refresher and see if you can get a good nugget or two out of it. Honestly was an amazing class. I was only going to grab 1 thing from this class at first "because it was old and I had newer", and wound up finishing it. Glad I did.

Well, i was so excited at the first of the course from what i heard that i will be understanding each step by step. but after i see that alot of steps are being skipped and some fastly explained . i hope you consider explaining slowly and step by step for beginners as the course mention.

Even though this course use an deprecated Django version, that's not means the course isn't important. I think is a gateway to jump to another and newer Django version.

Jmitch loves what he does, that is something I have observed over time with this course. His passion for the subject really comes through this. The course itself is amazing, however i would recommend people to learn some python and html/css basics before jumping right into this. All the best!

I am just on the 10% of the course and I wanted to thank you to the tutor. He is a wonderful tutor and he has organized the course so well. He is precise, concise and he clearly knows what is going in Student's mind. I would like to say thank you. This is the best ever course on Django which I have seen till now. One suggestion please make a basic architectural overview kind of session as well at start so that absolute beginners do not wander here and there just to know what is Django and why those files? Thank you again. For absolute beginners, just go to google, study for 2 -4 hours what is Django and start here then, gradually you will know things very well.

Very clear instructions about setting up the Django development environment. I took away half a star for all of the irrelevant extra fluff..

updates on the latest version should be more acurate, like url mapping to views, the method here does not work on django version 1.11.X , as a beginner, user should consult documentation at the same time yes but, Since this tut is for beginners, code should be updated

Very good introduction and dive into Django, clear and easy steps to follow. It would be better if a little more explanation on how the different things come together, as well as a quick summary on what was covered

Justing Mitchell is the Jesus of Django he knows how to teach, and he knows how to applicate. He deserves much more attention of new bie software developers.
