This is helpful. I have one dog trained to use the treadmill but having trouble with a new dog and there are many nuggets of advice I will be trying soon with the new girl.

A great addition to a dog trainers AND a dog owners 'toolkit'.
I really enjoyed watching this method for training dogs to walk on and most importantly enjoy walking on a treadmill. It uses classical conditioning and shows which tools are best for the job so that the dog is unlikely to ever have a negative experience that may set them back in their training process. I really appreciated the troubleshooting section of the course that goes into more detail about dogs that may be more weary than the dogs featured in the courses videos, dogs that may have had negative experiences in the past and how to undo previous bad training.

Ive enjoyed it.. it is just a bit slow. The delivery could be a bit more efficient maybe, as it feels a bit repetitive/

my only wish would be that there was one with some Small dogs as well though.

It would be more practical to have other options besides the martingale collar being endorsed in this training. They may be difficult to find or too expensive to purchase just to use a few times. Also, I believe the initial training can be successfully accomplished with or without that item.

Although in theory it is good instruction, in my experience as a CCFT, the dog should never be tethered to the treadmill, the handler may have ahold of a leash attached to a back clip harness or buckle collar however,

Great course. I would have liked to seen the training taken a little slower. I understand that the owners are instructed to work on this at home, but in my opinion it would be worth the time to take it a bit slower and reduce the stress level for some of the dogs in the videos.

Very interesting and informative little course, very clearly explained which made it easy to grab the concept. Here in Scotland it is cold, wet and windy in the winter and even occasionaly in the summer. Both my dogs are short haired and very high energy and this will be useful at this time because not only do the not enjoy the walk but its not to much fun for us humans either.

Ted did an amazing job breaking it all down and showing me how to take a dog from not being comfortable with a treadmill to being able to walk on a treadmill and get the most out of it. Another excellent production by Ted.
