TinkerCad for Beginners

For being a free course, it gives you a lot of useful information in a very concise way, so that you can start tinkering yourself.

A great introduction, thorough, clear and concise. I am a soaper and I want to learn how to make soap/clay extrusion discs. There is exactly one tutorial on youtube addressing this subject matter. If anyone can help, I would be most interested. Thank you

It really was amazing. Due to my skills in programming (not in anyway related to 3-D modelling) I was selected for an interschool 3-D modelling competition in TinkerCAD. I had only a week to prepare, and I enrolled in this course. This course helped me understand the overwhelming website, and I won the first price. Thanks a lot Brian Relay!

Excellent course for people just getting into the app. I would recommend trying your own figure alongside the course to apply the features. The pace and the length of the course is perfect to easily follow and learn the new skills. As a teacher, I feel knowledgeable enough now to support my students well and guide them to building designs they would be proud of. Thanks a lot!!!

Because I needed to learn Tinkercad and this course is teaching me the very basics in a very informative way.

Before starting this course, I had no idea how I should use Tinkercad. I learned a lot of new things in this course. I hope he will put a electronics course because he teaches well and I want to learn Arduino. This course is AMAZING!

I have been using TinkerCAD for couple of weeks now. This session was useful, some of the keyboard & mouse shortcuts were new to me and I am sure will help be do things better and faster.

He speaks slowly and explains well. He covers the essential basics and was very helpful in getting me started!

You seem to know the software, but so help me God, I will NEVER hire you as a rocket scientist! EVER! Your "removing the tip of the cone" and taking a big bite out of the side of the rocket COMPLETELY violates our company's aerodynamics protocol and non-exploding rocket policy! lol

The course was very precise and to the point. He teaches the same as I have for photography. He goes thru every click by telling you what it is then how it is used. I like that. It's better than most other tutorials I have had to pay for.

Although this course title is TinkerCad for Beginners, Once the lecture starts you realize that its aimed for kids. There is some stuff I could take away from this though.

I like the organized approach the instructor has taken. Each section presents a concise explanation of a function, covers it well and then moves on. It's definitely enough to get the basics of the TinkerCad interface and functions down. The instructor is interesting and well prepared.

The instructor speaks clearly, the examples are concise. Each lesson is brief and focused to prevent overload and fatigue which I think helps with retention. Perhaps it would be nice to see the keyboard use and mouse activity somehow appear on the screen as they are done (small KB and mouse objects on the screen?). I was hoping for a bit more relating to 3D printing but overall I now have a good idea how to make something in Tinkercad. If you know nothing about CAD and want to see what it's about, start here.
