So much knowledge about bowls wow! I love that I now have resources to go to! Have to share... when I bought my first Himalayan bowl I met Mitch Nur at that location, and he asked me to play my bowl for him, we connected instantly and he introduced me to two other bowls in his personal collection that he wanted my bowl to play with LOL, they were so wonderful together he said he would let them go home with me, I was like what? So not only did I leave with an amazing new 3 bowl set, but I also took a make your own Porotiti class and received a sound bath session from him. Now I have met you, just amazing _/\_ Nmaste

First, I love that this course is free. It makes me feel that the instructor Guy, is more about spreading knowledge and love, rather than making money, which I love. I have just purchased my first Udemy course in singing bowls and as part of the course, I had to purchase a set of 7 singing bowls. I wish I had seen this free course before I bought the bowls, as there is so much knowledge in this course that would have helped me. They have not arrived yet, but I am excited to see and hear them! I am also excited to learn more from this course as I have only completed part 8 so far! Tara M

Guy has presented a lot of very interesting information that wasn’t included in other sound healing courses I’ve taken. His personal journey is quite compelling and inspiring for those of us who have experienced personal trauma and are recovering through sound healing and other wholistic modalities. I appreciate his generosity in offering valuable knowledge at no charge and hope to learn more from other courses he teaches here.

Thank you for this free course, I found it enlightening with much important and interesting information. The only thing I felt could have been better was the volume of your voice in the videos. I could barely hear what you were saying even with the volume up as high as it could go, even on my laptop.

I couldnt expect more from this course
Some people might found it very theory based but It does open eyes into all the info about singing bowl and also to identify " fake gurus" trying to sell their bowls
I wish I could know about this course sooner so I could make wiser choices in buying a good singing bowls for myself

This course gave me valuable information about Tibetan Singing Bowls. The instructor has clearly had extensive experience with them, from visiting artisan manufacturers to studying the resonant frequencies and character of various types of bowls. The videos where he listens attentively and lovingly to the amazing reverberations of his bowl collection are wonderful and reinforce his message to all bowl students: “Just Listen!”
There are two frustrations which detracted from my experience: firstly, I felt the course was merely a conduit to the instructor’s website and (more extensive / expensive) sound healing course. The “Resources” listed for the lectures are a link to the web page about that course. Almost all the texts appearing in the Udemy lectures are extracts from his blog posts or web content.
Secondly, 29 minutes - approximately 20% of the course - is taken up by Lecture 7, a blow by blow (literally!) video of a blacksmith hammering out a singing bowl from molten gold. What purpose does this video serve? No commentary, no integration with the rest of the course material. The text of the video is in German, with no translation or explanation.

The Instructor is Awesome and all his words, speech and knowledge was very informative. I am sure he has done very good research on sounds and bowls. Very highly recommedned course for all the "Listeners of Sounds".
