Well. I wish you held an actual bow while teaching. I found it not useful at all. although I'm not basic, but you mentioned it would help me review some stuff. It might be really good for beginners. I'm not sure if the pencil technique really works, but it is definitely not suitable for people who can make the sound of a violin.

I have been looking to relearn violin as an adult beginner, and wanted a refresher on the basics. This course was excellent at helping me to get reacquainted with finding a good bow hold (something I admit to having had trouble with in the past), and went over the correct movements and posture, which are so important when learning the violin. The instructor was clear and concise while teaching, without talking down to the student, which I appreciate. All in all, this course was a good primer to restart my learning journey. I would recommend this for beginners, or anyone in the intermediate category who is like me and coming back to the violin after an extended break. Thank you!

Great for beginners. Learning the violin can already be a complex task, but this course literally guides you on every step. I was able to follow along easily and do all the exercises. It has all the basic steps I needed to get going with the bow. For people with more experience in playing the violin, you may want more advanced course, but for me it was a great resource.
